We have organized to block out all the rooms at several bed and breakfasts, all walking distance to the wedding events.
To maximize your social experience, we highly recommend you stay in one of the Bed and Breakfast’s under the TRAVEL AND STAY tab. To book, reach out to Grace here: gracebeebe@oldlouisvillestay.com
Grace will help sort out and book all the rooms in those BnB’s
(prices range from $150-200/night)
There are also alternative options at the bottom of the Travel and Stays page as well if you prefer to do your own thing!
-
Each BnB has a different vibe but they’re all within one block of each other. We’ve sent recommendations to Grace to help sort people into different places.
Bourbon Bigshot is the biggest one and is designated as the “party house” for after hours festivities.

Stay as long as you wish! but to get the full experience for what we have planned, we recommend arriving on Thursday, November 13th and leaving on Monday, November 17th.
The welcome crawfish boil starts on Friday around 3pm, so depending on flights, it might be wise to fly in on Thursday November 13th.
If you want to experience Churchill Downs on Sunday, then an evening flight on Sunday or Monday flight would be best.
-
Friday night attire is casual fun. We encourage people to bring a coat and to wear flat shoes for the steamboat activity
Saturday night attire is Festive Formal: Formal/evening dress for the ladies; snazzy suits for the guys. Flamboyant hats encouraged
(Please no jeans, polo shirts, or khaki pants, also no stilettos allowed to protect from damaging the floors)
Sunday attire is casual

Please arrive by 3:00pm
You are welcome to arrive earlier to enjoy the museum.
-
We ask that you refrain from taking photos on your phone during the ceremony. Our photographer will work their magic!
-
The wedding day venues are all indoors. However, we will be walking outdoor to move locations from ceremony to reception.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us directly.

Kids and babies are welcome. We’re planning on arranging a baby sitter for the reception so new parents can enjoy the festivities!
-
Hmm Tough… it’s gotta be boo.
-
We’ve intentionally planned the weekend so you don’t have to rent a car. We’re planning on organizing a shuttle for the weekend.
But for more freedom and flexibility to explore Louisville, you’re certainly welcome to rent one.
Also Uber and Lyft are readily available.
